She auditioned for the show in Savannah and wowed the judges with her bluesy, smokey, sexy vocals. She got into the top 13 by singing the Adele song "One and Only".

Despite several appearences in the bottom 3, Testone had managed to become a fan favorite thanks to her voice and strong stage presence. Her best performance to date is her rendition of the Led Zeppelin classic "Whole Lotta Love", which had previously been covered by season 8 alum Adam Lambert.

Testone was eliminated on April 26, 2012, finishing in 6th place.

After her elimination, Testone appeared on several talk shows and even got to perform with fellow finalist Colton Dixon on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She was also a part of the American Idols Live tour, which kicked off on July 6, 2012 in Detriot, Michigan.

Testone is currently at work on her first album.
